Sun, Fun, and Golf: Safety Track at the Romulus Golf Outing
On June 20th, the Safety Track team participated in the City of Romulus Annual Golf Outing Fundraiser at The Links at Gateway Golf Course. This highly anticipated event brings together local businesses, community leaders, and golf enthusiasts for a day of fun and networking. The tropical paradise theme added an extra layer of excitement and vibrancy, making it a fantastic opportunity for us to engage with the community, strengthen relationships, and enjoy some friendly competition on the golf course.
A Team Effort on the Greens
Our Safety Track team showcased their golfing prowess during the outing. Jeff, Nick, Tyler, and Keith delivered an outstanding performance, finishing the 18-hole course with an impressive 9 under par. Each team member brought unique strengths to the game. Jeff’s expert putting, Nick’s precision approach shots, Tyler’s monster drives, and Keith’s near-professional golfing skills set us up for success.
Despite the excitement and camaraderie of the day, we faced an intense heat wave. The relentless sun and soaring temperatures tested our endurance, but the Safety Track team persevered. By staying hydrated and focused, we overcame the scorching conditions and enjoyed a successful outing.
